Do not have your inspection done here if you care about your safety. Because "we aren't legally required to", they did not check all four of my brakes and did not discover that one of my brakes were metal on metal until I received a second and third opinion. Opinions I only received because I felt I was being lied to about the condition of my tires to try to force me into buying four new tires.

First the person I spoke to on the phone tried to blame the new shop, stating "the second shop always makes the first look bad" even though I never told the second and third place that I had it preciously looked at. Then I was told about how they aren't required to check all of the brakes even though the invoice I was given has measurements for all four and I was never informed that they all were not going to be checked.

Then I was told I cannot receive a refund for the safety inspection because "the car needed other work anyway". Yes, it did, but I was lied to about my brakes and tires and had to spend money I did not have having my car re-inspected at other places because I did not trust the information I was given by Bastion and I still feel they did not fully inspect my vehicle.

Finally, as I'm sure other women have experienced either here or elsewhere, the man at the desk who I believe is named Devin, gave me zero information about what was going on with and had been done to my car. When I had my husband call, suddenly there was a boatload of information to give. The car is mine. I am the only one who drives it and I bought it with my own money. I should be the one receiving the information, not my spouse.

All of this could have been long resolved with more clarity from Bastian and less blame placed on other shops and the front desk who whoever I spoke to on the phone tried to throw under the bus when he called in response to my email. Guess they didn't want a paper trail. I will never step foot in any Bastian location and will warn everyone I know to do the same. I hope this review finds the next person planning on having their inspection done at this location.

I can not thank the guys at Bastian tire enough. Last year I replaced most of the suspension and front end parts on my truck due to having 286,000 miles on it from another shop. After 1000's of dollars it still would not stay in alignment and continued to have vibration and shaking while driving. After many attempts from other garages to fix the issue Bastian was the one to make it happen and in a timely manner. John kept in contact with me through out the week on updates and the experienced technicians replaced the necessary parts all while keeping my hourly charges very reasonable. I will be a returning customer. Thanks again guys.

I’ve taken my Jeep to a dealership for an electrical issue, and they “thought” they knew what the problem was and after a couple of trips, and replacing parts, I still had the problem until they gave up. Then I called Bastian. I dropped off my Jeep and not an hour later Steve found the problem! ALL my Jeep work, electrical, electronics, mechanical, etc. will be done by Bastian Tire & Auto Centers. For me it’s the First Stop One Fix Place!

I requested an appointment for two front tires to be replaced. Was told that it was a walk in process which was absolutely fine. Was very impressed that I was given an out-the-door quote unprompted. As an intern hailing from a small town likewise to this one, this assured me I was in genuine and professional hands. All staff I interacted with were great. Thanks!
