Having served in the Army and government for almost 30 years there are milestones in your career that you will never forget. My retirement was perfect; my Soldiers presented me with two Swords that would leave me with the issue of figuring a way to honor the gift in its display.
Enter the WoodWorking Warrior; having served with Doc at Fort Lewis, Afghanistan, and maintaining a relationship over the years I knew that the ask would yield superior results.
The results.... Jaw dropping.... NCO Sword and Scabbard shined, sharpened, crossed and held over a wonderfully made and beautifully stained american flag. Engraved with a plaque and hung as the centerpiece in my mancave... It draws the eyes of every visitor; but, moreso it reminds an Old Soldier that "We Serve".
Thank you for the attention to detail, and the beautiful rendering for all whom We served with.... Those who came home.... and, those We lost. I humbly thank you for framing my first 27 years of Service.... perfectly.
