I absolutely LOVE this shop! Their selection of unique, adorable, versatile items (for every occasion) at very reasonable prices sets them apart from other boutiques in the same area. I LOVE boutique shopping and have been to pretty much all of them in the greater Louisville area and I find The Prickly Pear to have great quality unique items with a large selection and reasonable prices. If you live a little further out, it’s definitely worth the drive. Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and I would recommend shopping here for all of your Mother’s Day gift selections. There is something for everyone. Additionally, the service is OUTSTANDING. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and the owner is just so friendly and genuinely cares about her store and her customers and it shows!!

I was immediately impressed when I walked in! The Prickly Pear has so many wonderful gifts as well as jewelry, Derby dresses and fascinators, beautiful beach towels, cute purses, cozy pajamas and so much more. Prickly Pear is the best gift store in Louisville, KY. When it comes to family-friendly type atmosphere, great prices and unique finds…this shop has it all! It is my first-stop when buying holiday, birthday, or any type of gift…and things for myself and home too! It is nestled in the heart of Old Middletown…a charming atmosphere with easy parking. Went on a rainy Saturday afternoon in October with my sisters during a stroll of downtown Middletown. Cute store, has a nice variety of items. My sister got a very cute sweater that was a steal of a price, and I got a little body spray travel set which I love. Friendly gal running the place inside, cute and cozy. Would return.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were many cute items in the store and most were very reasonably priced. We went because we heard they had a large mask selection, even for kids. They had a large variety of mask in all different materials. My daughter found several she loved.
