Stopped by en route to the airport.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience of friendly service and the taste of a make to order, scratch kitchen. Felt like I was an invited guest vs a dining customer.

Everything was delicious!

By the looks of the parking lot, it is a very popular place around lunchtime but did not feel cramped inside. Service also never wavered.

Will definitely be back!

Disappointingly average. We were excited walking in. It has a nice aesthetic with exposed brick, cute photos, and big windows. But loud noises echoed from the kitchen and the steel chairs made it feel more like a cafeteria.

Our server was nice, but messed up each of our orders several times. She forgot a side of salsa. Never refilled our waters. And only checked in on us at the end for the check.

The menu is excessively large and the food took way too long to come out. It was warm, not hot. The bourbon french toast tasted like stale bread with vanilla pudding in between. There was no hint of bourbon flavor (I asked several times if this was the correct order, and our server assured me that it was). Hamburger (not shown) was just unseasoned beef between buns. The other entrees were okay. Not fresh. Not exciting. Just... Blah.

Would not recommend. If you go, you'll have perfectly edible food slightly better than McDonalds, perhaps equivalent to Chik-fil-A. But I would recommend spending your time and money elsewhere.

I loved everything about my breakfast at The Hive. The atmosphere and the food were really good. Price wise, the same as First Watch but I thought the food was better! I'll be back with my wife next time!

My husband and I decided to try a new restaurant we hadn't tried yet and came upon this gem. It's in a nice old house. The service was laid back and nice. We felt at home. The food was amazing. The Bourbon French toast is a must!
The upstairs has a really relaxing coffee shop!
It's was a nice day date for us.

Decided to check this place out because of all the social media post. Nice, clean, comfortable dining area with very friendly staff. I was excited to try their French toast but disappointed it’s only served one way. Menu states Kentucky coffee flavor whiskey? which I am not a coffee drinker but I did not feel like it had anything to do with coffee or whiskey. The French toast is served as a sandwich with barbarian cream between the two pieces of French toast. I choose not to have the Bavarian cream because that sounded gross. I might’ve made a mistake on that call because I was served basically two pieces of toast with honey on it. Had I read the menu clearer , I would not want the honey on the toast to say the least. I don’t think it was like French toast. It was kinda hard and you could not tell it was dipped in the egg batter at all.

I was very excited for this place from just the look of the building and atmosphere. While the service was quick and friendly. The food was ehhh.

The biscuit and gravy was served cool. Not cold but some parts were warmer than other parts. As if it was reheated and that’s exactly how the food looked REHEATED.
Bacon and sausage looked old.
The waffles and eggs were good. Thank goodness those looked fresh.
The potatoes definitely come from bag.
Overall I was disappointed.

Our waiter additionally let us know not to get the Mac n cheese. So it’s not just us who thinks the food is ehhh.

It’s as if they left the food out for took long and then served us. I was truly disappointed for how the restaurant appears to be. I was expecting home cooked southern breakfast.

Honestly, you’re better off at First Watch. The prices are similar.

We traveled from Tulsa, Oklahoma and had quite a few decent places to stop and eat at, HOWEVER NONE HAS BEEN AS GOOD AS THE HIVE!! YOU GOTTA STOP HERE AND EAT!! This place is fantastic!! Service was excellent! Ask for Carrie and tip her well!! She made us feel like home! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but what’s even greater is that the food is phenomenal!!!! It was very clean on the premises and great parking. The Hive gave us the very best southern hospitality! First time coming but we will definitely be back!!
