1-Star Review for Tech Castle & Matt

Absolutely terrible experience. I took my PC to Tech Castle for a simple wipe and reinstall of Windows, and Matt assured me he’d diagnose the issue by Wednesday or Thursday. I gave him all the details upfront to make things as easy as possible, even explaining the likely causes of the issue. Thursday comes, and I call around noon for an update—he tells me he hasn’t even looked at it yet but promises to check after lunch and have an answer (and possibly a fix) by closing time.

Five more hours pass. No update. I call again before they close, and Matt just says, “Ahhh man, my bad, I haven’t even looked at it yet.” No urgency, no professionalism—just wasted time. Meanwhile, I had reached out to a few other repair shops earlier in the week, and they actually got back to me, diagnosed the issue quickly over the phone, and one of them had my PC completely fixed in an hour.

I wasted days waiting on Tech Castle, spent gas driving back and forth, and thankfully took my business elsewhere—to a place that values their customers, communicates properly, and fixes simple problems in a reasonable timeframe. I never leave reviews unless they’re well deserved, and unfortunately, this one is. If you need tech repairs, do yourself a favor and go somewhere that actually respects your time.

I brought my PC in and Mathew couldn't have been nicer. I took a long time, but we figured out it was one of the new parts I bought, and they put everything back in the package so I could return the part, and get a new one for them to install. He couldn't have been more apologetic because it was during the holiday season, so everyone had paid for expedited service, so mine took a while. I HIGHLY recommend if you have any computer or tech issues.

Friendly helpful support staff here. Very communicative and were texting me updates all along the way to getting my computer fixed. Price wise they are up front and honest and will be back when the need arises.

Communication is fantastic - I always get in depth explanations regarding necessary repairs and they stay in touch about their progress.

They also have a reasonable selection of desktops and laptops available for purchase.

They are a great place, always friendly and welcoming. They make sure you feel secure about your device and give frequent updates on the progress. They work at a fast paced to make sure every customer has a working and reliable device. Recommend them 10/10 times!

Sad that it took the toy stores building but the interior of the building is really just cluttered. But if they got the money to feed into the “castle” part of the name repainting the buliding in a tech enhanced castle way would draw people in and repainting the miniature castle inside to match the exterior would be cool too
