It had been a while since I had been in this store. It has been remodeled really well. Everything is well marked. But best of all the people who work there are really helpful. If they don't have something they can tell you exactly where to get it. If you need help with how to use something they can tell you how to use it. Lots of landscaping supplies as well. Also they have rental equipment.

Swanson Hardware is a great store to have in Emmetsburg, Iowa. They have just about a little of everything that a hardware store might have and then some. They keep a nice supply of landscaping items on hand in the spring. They have a nice selection of tools and paints. When doing home remodeling, can generally find the items you need at Swanson's - which is amazing!! They carry some appliances if you get in a pinch and are open 7 days a week. Staff is helpful.
