I purchased a Rolex on eBay with Authentication included. The turn around time including a snow storm was only a few days. I emailed them to see if they opened the case to check the movement and they responded quickly that they do open the case. I especially wanted it opened because of all the fakes. Very happy with the service and professional application of their skills. My own inspection further confirmed they were on the money. I was very skeptical about spending over $7K on eBay but Stoll proved they are the right company to do the inspections. Don't rely on the negative reviews as they are mostly sour grapes.

This is the company that does all of the Authentication for eBay and they do not disappoint! I have purchased well over 50 watches off eBay and from various sellers and if there is an issue Stoll and Co. catches the issue, whether it be an undisclosed flaw or missing items, or a watch where the movement has been changed out, they inform you quickly regarding their authentication. There process is quick and usually I receive my watch within 4-5 business days from the seller shipping the watch to the authenticator.

I have met the owner of the company in person Mr. Stoll and he has done a wonderful job!

I have very strong evidence that Stoll and company damaged my brand new watch through eBay’s authentication. Including definitive video evidence that my Rolex watch box was dropped by Stoll and co. I am appalled that they marked my 3 week old watch as not as described to the buyer due to their negligence and causing a deep dent. I had a reputable watch dealer with 99% certainty state that the watch was likely clamped improperly causing damage which requires laser welding… or my watch was dropped from the box causing damage. Damage that this company caused was noted to the buyer as significantly not as described. I will now go out of my way to provide nothing but negative feedback to this company. I would recommend this company to sit down, re-train and take a masterclass on other eBay authenticators, if any exist. Stoll and co.’s Authenticators likely have a fear of ownership. Either that or have vastly inept practices.

Quick follow up - based on the evidence I have and provided, eBay has decided to side with my appeal which confirms Stoll & company damaged my watch. I’m absolutely livid that the damages they put on my watch they tried to tell the buyer that it was already there. Stuff like this and other recent reviews are apparent that their practices are grounds for a class action lawsuit in the near future. I challenge this company to “man-up” and directly contact me and tell me their side of the story. Until then, I will be blasting my experience on every well known watch forum and social media.

I recently sent my watch to Stoll & Company for repair, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire process. From start to finish, the experience was easy and seamless. Their communication was excellent, keeping me informed about the problem with my watch and the next steps. When I received my watch back, it was in perfect condition, just like new. I highly recommend Stoll & Company for anyone in need of quality watch repair services.

I had an exceptional experience servicing my watch at Stoll & Company. Their professionalism and efficiency were outstanding. They quickly restored my beloved Cartier Tank, which had stopped keeping time, and brought it back to perfect working order. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service and expertise they provided!

These guys are contracted by eBay to authenticate watches sold on eBay. I had a 9 year old watch serviced so that it was running at factory spec, and then sold it on eBay. Stoll & Co authenticated the watch, but claimed that it was not running and returned it to me, effectively canceling my sale. When I received the watch back, I wound it up and found they had left the chronograph running. When I called Stoll to inquire about their assessment, I was told that the watch would stop running after less than 10 minutes. Suspicious of their assessment, I wound the watch properly and put it on a timegrapher. The watch has now been running well and keeping time for nearly 48 hours. At this point I think it’s pretty obvious that whoever was looking at my watch was inexperienced and didn’t wind it enough to run with the chronograph going for 10 minutes. When I called back to explain to them that the watch is fine, they argued with me and refused to take any accountability. I think Stoll is probably a good company who is becoming too busy with all the authentications from eBay, and is now hiring anyone they can get to look at watches. Their refusal to take accountability tells me this is not a company I would ever send one of my watches to repair.

You can probably go to any mall in America, show up with your luxury timepiece for repair and receive better customer service than what you are likely to receive at Stroll. What you will receive is finger pointing to the watch manufacturer for not shipping parts or customs for holding the parts. You will likely receive these excuses only after you inquire why they have well exceeded their time estimate. Completed the work order on 6/21 of this year, it is now 9/30 and there is no end in sight for the watch to be repaired. Stoll will however gladly charge you a return shipping fee to have your still not working watch returned. I can’t imagine how poorly they fix watches if they can’t get the simple things, like communicating and relaying expectations correct.

Called Michael the manager after I received a watch that has been inspected by them and the chronograph pusher immediately came off. He refused to provide verification video of the inspecton , said talk to eBay, would not provide any info on owner or business and in trying to get the owners name he hung up on me. He simply said you will hear back from eBay. Do not trust this place. I would also avoid buying on eBay. You can’t trust what you get has been adequately evaluated and the companies will try to not help you. You will be caught between eBay and Stoll and they will try to screw you.
