I got a 02 Chevy Tahoe with 318,000 miles on it so I know that it wouldn't be in perfect shape. I asked if the engine had any major leeks and that the transmission worked well and I was told yeah those trucks hold up pretty well and I guess that would not be a yes or no but to me it sounded as if it was good. I was told, "oh the people who traded those in were great customers of theirs"and blah blah blah. Well I haven't had it for a week transmission is hesitating to shift, rear main seals leaking pretty bad and I don't know if this thing will hold out until I pay it off. I know the rear main seal is around a thousand or so for it to be replaced I had a shop quote me 900. Not sure why the transmission is starting to hesitate hopefully it's not a very expensive fix. I should have inspected it a little closer. But still he would think that any dealership that wants to have a good name wouldn't put something with these issues on the lot. As usual it's the poor people like me who get screwed and that's just the way it is.

If your smart you will turn and go some place else to buy a vehicle. I have never met such dishonest lying people until , I got sold a Lemon from this place. All of their vehicles are bought from used junk car auctions. Every last one has history of car accidents. And not to mention several mechanical problems they won't disclose with you. They'll also mark your sale price up more then the vehicle was offered for sale to make a quick buck off you. Just a terrible car buying experience. Would definitely consider going else where.

Fell for it last year and learned my lesson. Most of the cars they are selling are around 10 years old so when you buy it the value is gonna decrease and maybe decrease a lot. Not gonna give much detail but I bought a 2013 worth 14k and within a year it’s only worth 6k(only put 5,000 miles on it). Never ending problems since I bought it and their warranty is a joke and won’t cover anything that says it covers. At least make sure to have the vehicle scanned to see what codes they’ve cleared before you buy it so you can sort of see how screwed you’re gonna be. Now I’m stuck in a loan on a vehicle worth less than half of what I paid for it and needs 4k worth of repairs.

Rooster auto was great to deal with! I bought a car sight unseen being 5 hours away! It was everything they said it was and I was not disappointed. They are a great company to work with! I'd drive another 5 hours for another vehicle. If your ever in Vinton Iowa, go visit the shop!?

Went in to buy a used SUV. 4 weeks in SUV started chug chugging. After exhausting my extended warranty that only paid $2000. I’m sitting with a SUV that is crippled and I’m still making payments on. We had bought a car a couple years earlier and other then rusting all over it ran great. Please, please check out all used vehicle online for ratings before signing AS IS… Shame on you guys! ‍♀️
