Today I was blocked in by an employee at Quickcolor (on 1431 in Marble Falls) on purpose. I had unknowingly parked in a place reserved only for Quickcolor customers. There is a sign noting that people who are unlawfully parked will have their vehicles towed. However, there is more than one business using that parking lot. Nowhere does is state which parking spaces are reserved for which business. When I asked inside Quickcolor if they knew who's truck was blocking me in he said "It's mine and I will move it when I am done working on a project"..... I waited at least 20 min before I went back in and asked again and adding there there is no signage designating whose spaces belong to who. He said maybe he should have just had my car towed (as if I should be thankful he only blocked me in) and I would have to wait until he was through with what he was doing. I told him I was calling police....which I did. Of course he moved his vehicle about 1 min before the police arrived. Note: Quickcolor parking was empty!

Beware! This business did not honor prior agreements. I had first hand experience with this company and had come to a business arrangement only to be left high and dry. My last visit to the store front left a poor taste in my mouth as the owner Kristian berated a woman who was smoking a cigarette out front by the salon and then removed the outside benches inside. Does not have the community’s best interest in mind and does not follow through on agreements. Do not give them your money.

This review is not in regards to any product this business offers, rather how they treat people. I’ve never been given the opportunity to work with this business, and after today, I definitely won’t.

I frequent the nail salon located on the same strip. There is limited parking out front, and no recognizable signage delegating which spots belong to which. As I parked, I noticed another young woman getting out of her vehicle and approaching the nail salon. A confrontational gentleman ran out of QuikColor to ask her to move her vehicle. She asked if she could just ask the salon a quick question, and that she’d happily move in less than a minute. He responded with “I’ll call the tow truck” and turned to walk away.

I obviously headed back to my vehicle to also move out of his way, and on my way to do so, I asked if he had any recommendations on where I could park because the options were so limited. He ignored me and stormed back inside.

I definitely understand the frustrations of having limited parking and needing space for deliveries, customers, etc. But, I do not understand taking these frustrations out on potential customers just trying to run their errands for the day. Honestly, I’m left a little speechless at how unkind the entire situation played out.

My suggestion: Invest in some actual signage disclosing which parking spots are reserved for which business, and maybe take a few minutes for some coffee in the morning so that you can treat potential customers with grace and kindness.
