The owner is amazing. I went in with my three boys for a gift for my wife. She was wonderful to talk to and learn some really cool traditions. The boys loved her rock collection and are still doing show and tell to anyone that stops over for a visit. She has some really unique and beautiful jewelry along with a host of stuff from food to clothing. The owner was the best part, just a sweet woman that has a lot of passion and knowledge for the different cultures in her store.

Quaint little store in the basement of the Courthouse with so many treasures packed in: jewelry, cookware (aebleskive anyone? 🙂 ), gifts and more. Having spent time in Denmark, I appreciate the authenticity, as well as the help Phyllis provides in helping pick out just the right gift. Truly a gem.

I had a tattoo done at Tainted Skin in Crown Point by Luke and he wanted me to go show Phyllis of Nordikreations because he learned how to paint Rosemaling from her friend. Phyllis was so nice and knowledgeable about all things Scandinavian. It was nice to learn things from her that reminded me of my grandparents who were from Sweden. The store is incredible as are the other shops in the historic Courthouse in Crown Point.
