From the loose "Barbie Pink" sapphire I purchased and had fitted into a solitaire pendant, the eye-catching yellow Chrysoberyl ring, the heart shaped Tanzanite ring with diamond accents, the deep blue and immersive tanzanite ear rings, and her newest gift of the blue Zircon pear shaped stones Steve mounted into studs for us. Every piece we have purchased has been nothing short of exquisite.

7 years ago my husband got our son’s birthstone in a ring from Mother’s Family Rings for me: alexandrite (June). I had no idea how rare and difficult it was to get alexandrite until our daughter was born this year, also in June. I started my search for another June ring after she was born and found multiple places offering lab grown options. However, my stubborn self wanted natural, just like my son’s birthstone ring. Mother’s Family Rings is the ONLY place I could find a natural option for alexandrite. I was so excited that I found the natural gemstone and also happy that I was able to support this wonderful business again. My son’s ring is 7 years old and still in PERFECT condition (I could probably polish it up a bit) and my daughter’s ring looks just as amazing (although cleaner looking…oops). Next time we take a family trip to Chicago I want to stop in and meet the wonderful jewelers who gave me the most wonderful rings for my two wonderful children!
