Modern Dress was my favorite dress shopping experience of the four stores I visited. They were patient and brought suggestions to the room based on feedback I was providing on the dresses I had tried. They also feature designers that many stores in the Des Moines metro do not, which gave me the opportunity to find my dream Made With Love gown. They also offered a package for preserving my gown. I would highly recommend making the trip outside of the metro to see what they have to offer!

I had the best experience at Modern Dress! I had an appointment here as well as one other place, but honestly after less than an hour working with Ashley I didn't even need to see the second store. I told her what I was wanting and she pulled styles that matched that vision -- she was patient, helped me stay within my budget, and made sure I didn't get overwhelmed. She's a great advocate for the bride and brought my entire dream to a reality. I'm so thankful this was the first place I went. I highly recommend making this your one stop for wedding dresses. No need to overwhelm yourself with several appointments in one day.

THE BEST bridal store around! Sage was a dream to work with! The boutique is cute and comfortable, the dresses are beautiful and unique, and the staff is so sweet and knowledgeable. I'm so glad to be a Modern Dress bride!

Amazing bridal shop. The consultant listened to what i wanted and helped me customize the dress to get exactly what i wanted. The customization ended up a little wrong due to vision miscommunications on both ends but they were amazing in helping me fix it to still get exactly what i wanted for the day!
