I had received some wax melts for Christmas from my grandson. And I finally got around to melting them and oh my gosh they smelled so good! So I looked up where they were from and I immediately ordered one that he had given me for Christmas-vanilla lavender and I love the smell of peach so I ordered peach fuzz both of the scents smelled so good. My house smells great! The shipping was very quick and it’s free and I was very pleased with everything on the website. I highly recommend Magnolia Scents by Design to anyone who loves the smell of candles wax melts etc. They have a fantastic website it is very user-friendly. So if you like good smell stuff this is the place to go. The next time and I am in independence Kansas I’m going to go in to the shop and I suspect that my plastic card will be hot by the time I leave! Lol

The best place in town for gifts and scents. They have an amazing selection of candles, lotions, soaps, loose leaf teas, and spices! They even custom poured dozens of candles for my wedding. Do Not skip this wonderful shop if you are in downtown Independence.

Best small business in Independence, KS... I worked there years ago and it amazes me how every visit, they grow and continue to improve their fragrance lines and products. In the whole store, only one (of over 100) scents was less than immaculate. Brian, please get rid of The Grind.

It was a really fun experience. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They knew exactly what I wanted and we joked and laughed while they got my purchase ready. Great place and great people.

I adore this shop!!! It's a must if you are driving through Independence. It was so uplifting. It's also really affordable! There are so many local artists. I really appreciate the pride candles about William Inge, Sally Ride, and others. I should have bought all the colors and might order online 🙂

Lovely customer service and their scents are long lasting! Spilled some aroma mist on a shirt and it persisted through a wash and dry cycle lol. Bought a candle last year for my partner and they loved it. Absolutely phenomenal work

Great store, beautifully and meticulously put together. Extensive inventory of aromatherapy candles, scents, bath bombs, soaps, art, herbal teas and hard to find herbs and spices. Lots of cute jewelry and nick nacks. Customer service was extraordinary. Would recommend stopping in for an awesome gift, or just to treat yourself. Very awesome place!!

I love this place, the smell of just walking In the door had me sold I know I cannot just go for one item I never walk out with less than 5 items the candles are amazing and last forever and the soaps are wonderful. Not to mention all the staff there is super inviting I have never met one rude person there I will definitely be back as I usually am. Highly recommend if you want a positive shopping experience and amazing high quality products!!
