I've been here twice and both times went with friends. The gentleman behind the counter and Ben the gentleman on the range was great. Ben, by far has helped me tremendously. We have bought a gun, ammo whatever you need they've got or can order it. Great customer service. Would love to add a photo, but come check it out yourself....

Con artists. Don't pay with a credit/debit card. If you pay with a credit/debit card and get denied for the gun, they will make sure they still get some money from you. I have never had problems buying a gun till I came here. I had to pay before he even filed the paperwork. Then when I got denied on the gun I wanted, they proceeded to give me part of my money back, but they made sure they got a cut from it. I will not be returning to this shady establishment in the future. Save yourself the hassle. Go to Rural king. They don't charge you until you are about to leave with your gun, and they don't charge a fee for credit card use (the number one form of payment now days). So all in all, if you don't want to be Scammed, go to rural King or try the one over on Harrison st. If you do go here, take cash and make sure you have proof of what you paid.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. That's why you charge people before you do the background checks. That way you get some money at least. I don't have a felonies, but whatever. I will stick with rural king since they don't charge you until after they also the background check, and don't charge trumped up outrageous fees, but you do you. Its no wonder it is so dead out at that place with someone like you running it.

The gun and ammo selection is limited. But the gun safety class and time on the range was superb. Paul doesn't over instruct or make you feel the Zombies are about to attack. He gives it to you straight. Not only does he cover gun safety but range safety and emergency medical procedures too. I thought that was such an often overlooked aspect of things related to gun safety. Ben helped out on the range. Between Paul and Ben my wife went from nervous handling her gun to comfortable and great at hitting targets during our first session. From close up to moving and changing tagets it was a very pleasing experience. Looking forward to hand gun level two class and range time soon. Price wise very moderate and affordable. Convenient location just north east of Monticello. Very low pressure sales pitch if any at all from Paul and his staff. ...
