I absolutely love this store. The atmosphere, old hardwood floors and metal ceilings makes me comfortable from the entrance where we are nearly always personally greeted. So many unique items; from cookbooks, Kansas Christmas ornaments, puzzles, silk flowers, gift ideas, beautiful dishes, holiday decor, and amazing kitchen items. Shopping local is fantastic!

Love this place, so much fun to visit. Like the old Ben Franklin, Woolworths, and 5 & 10 cent stores. Really cool and fun items. The toy section is large with so much variety and great prices. Our grandkids love to go there. They have an old-time candy county where you pick some out, they weigh it, and put in small paper bags. It’s my favorite part of the store. Very helpful staff. Make a trip to Holton, it’s right on the historic town square, and spend some time at Kroger’s. You will find cool stuff and remember the candy!

Not the Kogers I always loved and knew for years . Seems they are turning it into a more higher end store and ridding it of all the unique, vintage classic items you can't anywhere, anymore these days. All the dollar knick knacks are also few. Sad to see Kogers go! Nothing to see here anymore folks! Such a Disappointing change for sure, Especially for our small town traditions we are accustomed to.

This is a "by-gone-times" gem of a shop. There is a little bit of everything at the Koger Variety. You can find items for home or personal use that are sometimes hard to find elsewhere. I like the earrings; I have not found this brand anywhere else.

Quintessential small town stores. Too few of these exist and the fact that Koger's is still around is a testament to their hominess and surprising variety. If you're looking for nick nacks, home goods, or kitchenware, then this is the place to look. They also have a delightful old-timey soda fountain in the back: be sure to stop by soon!

Koger Variety is one of the coolest stores!!! They are a pleasant surprise, have a huge inventory, employees make me feel special and store reminds me of a bygone era of retail shopping.
