Evacuated from Hurricane Helene, stopped in Louisville to feel some normalcy. Took a walk and Kizito caught my eye. Went in and was greeted by Elizabeth and Tod, they were absolute gems. Elizabeth, “the cookie lady” gifted my 3 year old delicious handmade cookies and a good luck elephant, to send us on our way. The goodness in humanity is what’s get us through challenging times. 💛

We had waon a trip to Bourbon & Beyond from Louisville Tourism board and were staying down the street at The Myriad Hotel. We went to breakfast at Highlands Morning and had a wait to be seated so we took a stroll and ended up here at Kizito Cookies. They had so many delicious cookies, the sugar Cooke was my favorite. The gentleman at the counter was very polite and kind and offered us a brownie that was good also! They had many neat crafts for sale as well. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I am usually very happy with these cookies. But yesterday's purchase at St. James Art Fair I bought 4 black and white cookies. I've had one of these before and it was wonderful. Soft cake like cookie and decent amount of frosting. All four of these cookies were over cooked. Not burnt, but dry and hard. Frosting was barely coating it. I guess they cooked alot of them, for the big Art show. But they dropped the ball on these cookies. Ended up eating about half of one and threw away the rest.

Been a long time Kizito Cookie fan. Hands down best cookies in the world. This is the best. Still family run, Mother and daughter, both are so friendly and will always have a smile and some time to engage in conversation with you. They are a national treasure, yet not a big factory. Everyone knows that Kizito’s Cookies are the best, but they are real people that have big hearts and handmade cookies, and at the store/bakery there is African trinkets for sale that Ma’am has picked up on her ‘safaris abroad. I bought several smalls and all came with tales from her adventures. Try this place in Louisville and ask for the freshest cookies and you’ll see why I write this long ‘Blog’ review. My 1st Kizito- I was 5 years old in 1990 My last one was today at 39 in 2024. Yeah, it’s that good!!!!

My grandmother always took me to Louisville Bats games religiously when I would visit from PA for the summer. It’s been 10+ years since I have been back to a game, and I have craved her cookies so many times throughout the years. Watching her effortlessly carry the cookie filled basket on her head up and down the stadium aisles was always something that completely mesmerized me. I was thrilled to find out she ships and my heavens do they take me back! Not a single thing has changed about these cookies and they truly are the absolute best!

I placed an online order. The Jack Harlow Foundation will make a donation matching the purchase price for every dozen cookies ordered.
I received my order within 3 days. The shipping was free and the cookies were well packed and didn't have any cracks. I've known the Kizito name around the Louisville area for decades and have always treated myself to her cookies whenever I see them for sale. This was my first online order and I'm super impressed with how quickly they came. I'm excited that Jack is matching the price and giving back to the KRM.

I just received my 1st order of cookies & they are more amazing than I expected! They are comparable, if not BETTER than the fresh baked, from scratch cookies I get up the road at Disneyland!
