A wonderful little locally made craft store. A good selection from fabrics to metal craft. The cutest thing in the store was not for sale. Hello Ruby

I was just scrolling through FB on a Saturday, before Father’s Day, and saw something that seemed so suitable for my devil dog. I asked if shipping was available and within 10 minutes finalized my purchase shipping to my hubby. They even entertained my picture requests for me to send him so he can see what’s coming. Thank you so much to my fellow VHS classmate for running an awesome shop! Can’t wait for his gift to arrive and snap a picture or 2. Thanks again, Tony! You rock ❤️❤️

I would give no stars if I could but since I can’t my one star (since that’s the lowest rating) goes to all the vendors. Y’all are doing great. As a shopper the vendor selection is perfect, has a little something for everyone. The only vendor I have ever had a product issue with is the owner himself. I ordered a custom piece and what I received was pretty much the exact opposite of what I requested. I asked for a refund as I would return the products, he said sorry no refunds on customer orders. Completely understandable, however NOT when he didn’t produce the product I requested. If he couldn’t do what I requested he could’ve just told me. After asking for a refund he said he would stain the pieces free of charge but the color stain (although still not what I asked for) wasn’t the problem it was the font of the wood letters. I declined the stain and just requested a refund which he then FINALLY agreed to remake but at this point my fiancé and I were just done. So I just said no thanks I will take the refund. After further communication, as I am a contract vendor there, he told me he would have my products outside in a box for me to pick up as he no longer wanted to deal with the drama. My response was that that was fine and I would be there Monday (today) to pick up my items and I would have the letters to return for refund or if he remade them prior to today I would give him the old ones and take the new ones. Upon arriving to collect my things, totally expecting it to be an adult professional conversation he was beyond rude. As I asked him if he was doing a refund or if he remade them he pretty much said nope not doing either you’re stuck with the ones I gave you. As a vendor it’s not really a loss to no longer be in his store. There’s really not a ton of foot traffic other than maybe for Christmas. And although he promotes the store he doesn’t promote individual businesses or products more than maybe once or twice. He was charging us $60 for rent for 1 shelf and 6 pegs and bowl at checkout. He has no way for you to see your inventory (as it states in the contract that you would) nor a way to see what has sold what’s selling etc etc. He has “played” my fiancé and business partner in the face on 2 other occasions even though we were prepared for rent to increase so we could have more and different items in the store. My fiancé is a lot more giving in terms of understanding and giving the benefit of the doubt. And he 100% does not trust or respect the way things are done/ handled. However, talking to past and present vendors only 1/10 would recommend being a vendor there or being a vendor again. One which I will name has even gone as far to tell me that Tony, the owner, constantly makes broken promises and is not transparent and up front to vendors. And another, I will not mention, has told me the only reason they stopped being a vendor is because they found out Tony was bad mouthing their business and was not paying them properly or on time. The owner has also bad mouthed previous vendors to me on more than one occasion, as I’m sure he does me to other vendors. I won’t say anything more other than if you do stop in and shop there are a TON of great vendors but if you find something you like I recommend finding out the small business that creates it and shopping directly through them, as aside from rent 10% of item profits go to the owner and he also makes the vendors pay the CC fees. So support the small business and buy directly from them, most have their own website where you can order or a way to communicate directly with them to get orders placed.

After being refused a replacement and refund of my product today I called my fiancé as he was at work to see what he wanted me to do to move forward. The entire time I was on the phone the owner was raising his voice (not yelling just louder than talking) over me and threatening to call the cops on me. Completely unprofessional. He says he doesn’t want drama or to deal with drama but creates it and then retaliates when he’s called out.

From the prospective of a shopper, the store has some cute items. From the prospective of a vendor, I paid $125 a month for 6 months ( contract requirement) and only $150 of my wares was sold. So I lost $600 which doesn't include the 'Set Up' fee I paid. (Even credit card fees are charged to the vendor if the customer pays with a card.) It was a poor decision on my part to do business w KY Farmhouse Crafts. 😕
