The staff at Hudson is excellent! Super friendly and offered me a far more affordable fix for my wedding set on a much shorter return time on a piece that wasn’t even purchased from them. They set the intention for my set to be back in 10 days and it was back in 3!! Wonderful business!

I took a gold chain to be repaired, but the repair was done very poorly. Part of the issue was an error on my part- when I dropped off the broken chain initially, I did not leave the charm that goes on it. When I got the chain back, the charm wouldn’t fit over the clasp- totally my fault. But aside from that mistake, they shortened the overall length of the chain doing the repair (which should have been an easy fix) and reattached the clasp in the wrong place. And they left the broken portion of the chain hanging off one of the adjustment loops. So I was left with a chain shorter than before and has one less adjustment length.

The woman I communicated with in the store was very rude about the issue and was not pleasant to do business with at all. She even told me my chain wasn’t real gold because it had a “sterling silver” stamp on it, which she ended up saying she was incorrect about after another employee corrected her. Even though they offered to send the chain off again to be repaired free of charge, I opted to take it to another jeweler that fixed it in house and sent it home with me the same day (for 1/3 of the cost). I won’t be going to Hudson again for repairs, unfortunately….

John was SO helpful and made the process so easy for him and then when I needed it to get resized he helped us out so much and I was able to get it rushed and back before I had to leave town. Him and his wife were so kind and it was just such a wonderful experience!!

I went in to Hudson on Friday, July 29th, looking to have my engagement ring sized. Upon speaking to one of the employees, I was told they could have the sizing done and ready for pick up by the next Friday. On Monday, August 1st, I got a call saying my ring was ready for pickup! I was completely shocked. Fast, friendly and excellent service! I highly recommend Hudson Jeweler.

Had the best experience here! I purchased my wedding band here on Black Friday. They had to order it in, as the one the had in store was not my size. They said it could take about a week, but it was ready for me to pickup by that Sunday! I was very impressed that they got it here in less than 2 days on a holiday weekend. Not to mention, they cleaned my engagement ring for free and were extremely nice to me and made me feel comfortable. My only regret is that I didn't purchase my engagement ring from them because I did not know about them yet!
