I went to the shop last Friday. When I arrived there were a couple of customers being helped but were not very busy. Not one of the employees even made eye contact with me or even acknowledged that I was there. I even stood next to an employee and the customer and she still didn’t acknowledge me. I walked around for about 19 minutes and still no acknowledgment. I would have given a zero rating but gave a 2 because of the items in the store.

I was very disappointed in my visit. I went with a friend for my birthday. The two employees were too busy talking about husbands and auto parts to acknowledge us. Never offered to help. As I left they went into the side room by the front door and were talking about what they brought for lunch. One brought half a bratwurst, and cottage cheese, etc. Walked out before hearing what the second employee brought. I would give them no stars if it was possible.

Lots of fabric, a growing selection of cross stitch and embroidery supplies. Attentive staff. Warm old barn atmosphere. Unique and broad tastes in quilting, from classic to modern. Tons of batiks and gorgeous samples hang for your viewing pleasure.

Don't waste your time. I am rating this shop one star because of their beautiful inventory. The two women who worked there (apparently worked there...they were the only two people there when we walked in) didn't even bother to greet us or get up from their lunch to show us around the shop. It's a shame. I could have spent quite a bit of time and money there had they been helpful in the least. I will never purchase anything from shop owners who are so arrogant that they don't even have time for their customers.

I was in last month trying to get fabric that went together needing 21 different pieces and the two ladies there spent quite a bit of time helping me. Never felt I was wasting their time or was never made to feel I needed to hurry up and make a decision. This is not the first time I have needed something to go with a project I was working on and I can assure it won’t be the last as I’m so happy that they are here to help me!! I will be going in the next couple of days because, I have another project I need one more piece for it and so happy to know I have Heritage Designs near by and the wonderful people there to help me it’s appreciated more than they know!! Thank you!

This is a nice store within the Amana Colonies area. There are two quilt stores here. Each quite nice and each very different. There is a very nice selection of batik fabric as well as other quality fabric. They gave a number of samples hanging with patterns available for each. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Love this store. Employees always nice and very helpful. Excellent quality. Very large selections of Quilting fabric and notions plus embroidery floss and patterns.

Very enjoyable. Took some fabric to match up for a project and the person helped me find yardage for it. They had just received unusual fabric that morning. I found the right fabric for two more projects. Well worth the long trip to get there.
