I haven't gone to many ice cream places in Kentucky, but I have been to a lot of ice cream places in almost all 50 states and I will say this banana ice cream is incredible. The vanilla ice cream is also excellent. Service is friendly and helpful.

Excellent ice cream and GLUTEN FREE cones! All natural. Very sweet for those with a serious sweet tooth. Great asset to Hopkinsville! Service was difficult to attain and could improve in friendliness today...I asked out loud if someone was present. I rang the bell five times. Just a heads up to the owners as exceptional customer service compliments any business!

Such a nice locally owned business! Took the kids on Saturday. The prices were fair and this ice cream was amazing!!! Even the 10 year old said “this tastes better than Dairy Queen”… and it does! My family will definitely add this to our list of places to eat.,BTW… the service was fast and friendly and the inside of the place was decorated so cute.

I was drawn in by the homemade ice cream in the name of the establishment. And, it was good ice cream, the service was welcoming and friendly, and the dining area is neat, and quite spacious. I guess the only downside was $0.65 per topping, so my one scoop waffle bowl was around $7 with two toppings, but i think that is standard for today’s economy, and it is better to spend money at a local, small business than somewhere like Cold Stone.

Little was known about this ice cream parlor except the website said homemade. After a hot day on the road we pulled off the parkway and walked in to a scene from the 1960’s. The size of the store really surprised me because it was very large.Many tables and chairs to choose from and a wide open pathway to the counter with a large order here sign calling our name. The large windows into the kitchen revealed industrial sized motor driven ice cream machines. Stainless steel shelves, counters and sinks that were cleaned and well organized. Stepping up to the order counter with my young son we were greeted by an employee that had the patience of a saint. First my son had to decide between the enormous array of cones from which to choose. Each coated with its own coating. From sprinkles to chocolate and everything in between. A rainbow sprinkle was chosen and then the hardest decision of all, which kind of ice cream? First it was strawberry, then pineapple, then chocolate, and finally he chose the cookies and cream. A very generous scoop was carefully piled high on my sons cone and as the attendant handed it to my son I remembered to ask for a bowl because no way was he going to be able and eat this whole thing before it was running down both arms onto his shirt and the thought of him climbing into the backseat of our car sent chills up my spine . Next I chose a banana split. Now I had an even harder decision to make and people were lining up behind of me. Quickly I surveyed the large cooler in front of me and was frozen like a deer in the headlights. Looking carefully I could tell that the soft creamy ice cream in each bucket was homemade and each one had my name on it, if not now but in the future. So I chose strawberry, pineapple, and one with caramel swirls. Now for an even harder choice. The toppings! I chose strawberries in a glaze over the strawberry ice cream, pineapple over the pineapple, and butterscotch sprinkles on the caramel. Hot fudge over everything and whip cream over that. Next peanut pieces sprinkled on top. Little was said after we sat down and started eating. Watching my son attempt to eat his large scoop of delicious ice cream before it melted was enough of a reward for me. He didn’t say a word but gave me a two thumbs up sign. But after eating my way from one end to the other of my delicious banana split masterpiece, I couldn’t help but to think about making another trip back to this very special place that crafts fantastic ice cream and absolutely the best banana split I’ve ever had. I highly recommend that you bring your family, or just bring your own self, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

The employee’s really seem to hate their jobs… super slow service. We waited about 35 minutes to get some ice cream. 2 major flavors were out of stock. Expensive ice cream shop $13 for 2 cones with 1 scoop no toppings….
