I received my order like this.. There are pieces of glass everywhere, including inside the candles that are not smashed like pancakes. So, I decided to contact customer care, which it was terrible. In all this mess, they identified 3 candles in good condition.. I don't see that. One of them is cracked on the side, the other 2 have shattered pieces of glass inside the candle, and they are stuck..I'm not cleaning with my fingers.. I didn't have an issue sending the whole box back if they have so much trouble seeing what I'm seeing, but they can't have damaged items return... Im pretty sure they don't understand that I didn't break these candles, right?.. and I'm even willing to return all of them so they don't think I'm trying to take advantage.. I can't use any of them..
This fight with the customer service rep (Ava) lasted almost an hour for what.. for nothing, they will replace only the ones broken completely, but the ones with cracks and pieces of glass won't..
I'm never buying from this company.. Terrible customer care service.

Overall, Goose Creek produces pretty horrible candles. As you can see with the toasty hot toddy candle, I keep all wick trimmings out of the wax pool and trim the wicks to the appropriate length. This candle was actually made well from what I can tell so far, it’s still pretty full so we will see.

The pumpkin butter brittle along with the rest of the candles from my order however, were not made so well. I follow all of the rules when it comes to candles and this is the outcome I get with nearly ALL candles from this company. I ordered 10 candles from them and have burned them all and they all produced a HEAVY amount of soot, besides the toasty hot toddy. I mean seriously, black smoke everywhere and on my walls. You’d think they’d do something to fix the issue considering all the reviews mentioning the soot that comes from them. I absolutely do not recommend their candles.

By far the best candles at an affordable price and I have tried many brands. I have large open rooms and couldn’t find candles that would fill the room without being overwhelming. The 3 wick candles are long lasting and have beautiful designs. Some scents are better than others but I’ve found most of them to be pleasing.

However, don’t bother with the plug-ins. They start out great but don’t last long and have no scent at all when reheated.

I don’t understand the complaints about shipping. My candles always come in very secure packaging.

Excellent candles, and by far, my favorite. I will keep ordering from GC. The candles come wrapped very securely in a big box. You can tell that each scent, label, and packaging is crafted with pride and sincerity. I love that they are made in my home state!

I placed an order in the beginning of December and didn’t receive my order nor any updates on it til after the 28th and when I received my candles 2/4 were broken and there were glass pieces all over the box. So I tried to contact the customer support and I have done it multiple times now and received no word back even though it says they will get back to you in 24-48 hours. I am very disappointed and would not recommend ordering from this company! I definitely won’t be again!

Terrible. Ordered almost $100 worth of candles 16 days before Christmas and despite at least 10 emails to customer service, they never even attempted to ship them, apologize, offer a coupon or discount for the inconvenience they caused, or anything to resolve the issue. I was incredibly patient, but finally had to cancel the order. Lesson learned. I will never order from them again. TERRIBLE customer service!

My first order just arrived and I am so excited. I purchased a few items to give as Christmas gifts. I like to buy things throughout the year when an item really suits someone. Candles aren’t typically something extra special that I would purchase 4 months in advance. Until now. GooseCreek offers such beautiful, unique & fun designs. The scents are amazing. I can’t wait to burn one. Yes, I will have to keep one for myself to try! It says the 3 wicks burn up to 50 hours.
Shipping was fast and I was kept up to date via email. My order arrived in 4 days and I ordered on a Friday! The candles were packed very well. Zero plastic waste in the packaging, I loved that. It is all recyclable and/or biodegradable. I don’t tend to re-purchase from companies that send too much waste. I am very stoked with my order.
Update:When I tore everything down completely I found one piece of styrofoam in the bottom of the box. Just one piece isn’t as bad as most companies though!
