Went in looking for a sterling silver chain to replace one that had broken on a family heirloom, I was shown two chains which were exactly the same length, same link and what appeared to be the exact same weight but one was priced 40.00 more than the other, I asked her why the price difference since the two were exactly the same her response was the weight was different and then proceeded to weigh them both but wouldn't tell me how they determined the price or what the weight of each was but what she did do was make the statement the prices must have been switched because they were wrong. I felt her accusation was directed at me toward the tag switch when the chains were in her sight the entire time I informed her what I do for a living and have never had anyone even remotely attempt to accuse me of anything like that. My family has done business in the past here but after this nonsense never will again, I think it's funny they are trying to scam people by charging such different prices on the same items and when questioned about it make such fraudulent statements. I warn anyone who may shop there to be careful and check all potential purchases, definitely some shady practices going on here !!!!!!

NO. Don't shop here! I was Sold a FAKE Microtech Knife. I was told repeatedly it was Microtech it says Microtech on it even has the correct nomenclature. I paid $147.00 for a $69.00 Counterfeit. I called and spoke to the owner and he said it was My fault!! He said " what did you expect you should have known it was fake you only paid 147.00 for a $400.00 dollar knife, If you made a mistake I'll refund your money". What a Con-Man The lady there was so nice all the wile taking advantage of my kindness, so much for shopping local in this town. What I'm saying is Buyer Beware and check your diamonds. To the owner you owe me money! Claim will be filed against you with the BBB and the city. Shame on you.

A tiny store with lots to offer. I wish they had prices on more things. My husband saw a knife he was interested in, but the clerk was busy with another customer, and there wasn't a price on it, so we unfortunately left.

Such an adorable little place. I was going to pass it up but glad my boyfriend convinced me. They have some vintage advertising available, nice selection of vintage vinyl and jewelry.

This is the only place I trust with my jewelry repairs. They always do a remarkable job. This is my favorite shop in all of Madison. The man and woman who own it are very friendly to everyone, and I have to say, I have seen people give them some real attitude! Their prices are very fair, much better than over priced ebay stuff which is what I like about this place. I love that the store smells like the mixture of the old things that are in there . If you need to sell your gems, go here first, Fred is the most honest person I know and will give the best prices.

Went in and brought a few Items awhile back because I heard good things and he had good reviews, guy who runs it now is just a complete crook! I wouldn’t recommend taking anything expensive in there that you know is worth money. He’ll try to cheat you out of it. Also wasn’t the friendliest service either, just take your business elsewhere if you’re considering this place. There’s better places in Madison than this one.

This is our go to place for watch repairs or any jewelry needs! I just had my wedding ring resized, it was done in a few hours and perfect! The lady who works and/or owns the store is so kind & always makes it a pleasant experience. A Madison gem!
