Joy and her entire staff is amazing. I just had my physical Monday. SHE listened to me. She was so thorough, so explanatory on many things. I was not rushed. I was heard!!! So blessed for her!

This medical office is very unprofessional, inconsiderate, and lacks empathy. I started coming to this office because it is near my place of residence. I do not have insurance so I am self-pay (I always paid my bills with this office in full). Initially, the main nurse practitioner, Joy, would only prescribe my medicine in small amounts, even though I have been taking the same medications for years. She wanted me to do lab work every 6 months which I understand.

I was due for my 6 month visit and lab work so I did so. I did my visit via Zoom. A nurse practitioner, who I did not know, performed my Zoom visit. I asked her if she could prescribe me a new medication for a certain condition. I told her that I was having trouble sleeping because of this particular condition. She said she would be willing to prescribe me something if I did my lab work first, and my levels were within range. So, I did my lab work and Joy sent me the results via online messaging. She said my labs were good overall. She cited one particular result being a little above range so I had to remind her a second time (I had already told her about another condition which causes this after the first lab work she ordered), about why that range was a little high. So, I requested a prescription for the particular condition. Joy prescribed me a medication to try for this condition. She told me that if this medication does not work for me, I should see a specialist. Later, my pharmacy called me, out of concern, that my prescription would cost around $500. So, I called the office and politely requested an alternate, generic medication which would be more affordable. The receptionist informed me that she would give Joy the message. I received no response as of the afternoon of the day after, so I messaged Joy to politely request an alternate, generic medication again. After awhile, I received a message from someone named Estefania. She stated that she had talked to Joy, and Joy said she referred me to a specialist because I was already taking “several” medications for this particular condition. Which is blatantly false. So after I requested an alternate medication, Joy suddenly changed her mind about prescribing me a medication whatsoever for this particular condition. Upon informing Joy that I could not afford the particular medication she prescribed, she suggested I spend more money to see a specialist instead.

Very unprofessional, inconsiderate, and absence of empathy! Now I will have to spend more money and drive farther away from my residence, to find a medical professional with integrity. Disgusting

I just have to leave a review about my doc and her office. First, it is so refreshing to have someone real answer the phone (thanks Suzanne), and then my nurse is always so friendly and understanding, yet competent and professional (thanks Stephanie), and then Joy Keeton... what a joy! She always takes care of me and is so great with diagnosis and treatment! Always very diligent in getting to the root of the problem, and if she has any doubts, she recommends me to a specialist or therapy. Ever since I moved to Godley 3 years ago, I've been going to this office. Have been pleased every time! Thanks y'all!

I came here to get a check up and a papsmear. I asked if they can help me with my very painful menstrual pain. Ive mentioned my periods are very strong and painful. I was asked to get bloodwork done. The lady that took my bloodwork gave me such a big huge bruise on my arm. I am very squirmish with blood and needles and she made it very painful. My arms was dangling on my side as she poked the needles in my veins trying to get blood out and it took very long. I had never had this much painful experience getting blood work done. And the worse part is I had to come back to get my bloodwork redone. But this time it was the doctor that got the bloodwork done. She put a turnequit on this time with my arms elevated and the blood came out fast and painless. After I got my papsmear done I asked the doctor what can we do about my very painful periods and she told me lets see what the lab tests say when they come back. After the results was in, they called me and told me everything was clear and to have a good day. I felt they did not listen to my concerns at all so I decided not to come back to this facilty. It took me atleast a year to try a different doctor because I was so scared to get bloodwork done after my experience here. I went to a gyno in cleburn Dr. Aboukhair and immediately he made me get bloodwork done which was super fast and painless and also made me get a ultrasound done. After that was done they saw that I have multiple huge fibroids and asked me how come no one caught it yet if I had a papsmear done a year ago? I told them exactly what happened. He mentioned I am super anemic and need a emergency surgery done. My surgery is in a few days. I am glad finally someone listened to me and helped me. The family Godley Medicine did not. Will not come back and will not recommend.

Friendly staff and skilled! I receive my HRT here (which, by the way is the most affordable I have found) and my blood draws are painless and easy! I have a very, very difficult time with blood draws and they seem to have the magic touch every time! I have a competitor clinic in Arlington just 1 mile from my house - but I would rather drive the distance to be cared for by Joy and her staff. Joy has offered me so many health solutions and being over 50 now, we have a lot of issues as women! Do yourself a favor and go see her - you'll be glad you did!

I absolutely love this office and all of the staff. Joy takes her time with each patient and actively listens to every concern. All of her staff are warm and friendly. Melissa has helped me over the phone several times trying to get a medication covered my insurance. This office always goes above and beyond for their patients. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

Breath of fresh air! I am new to Godley and was needing to find a local provider. I could not have been happier with my experience. Joy took her time with me and for the first time in a long time I felt heard. Her staff is equally incredible. Everyone was well educated, and patient focused. 100% recommend! I am so thankful to have found our new family care provider.
