I had a good experience and would go back. The prices were a little more expensive than other places in Ames but I came to an agreement with the owner, which was a good guy. I got the washing machine I needed the next day at a very reasonable price. The delivery personal was on time and did a great job. They were in and out quickly and were polite. I am happy with the purchase I made!

Duffys was great! We ordered a dryer and they came out to deliver and we realized we had ordered the wrong size. They happily worked with us to get us what we needed and came back the very next day to deliver and install. Wonderful customer service!!

They are knowledgeable and helpful. Their prices are higher then online and Ames but I’m assuming that is due to then being the only place in town you can get parts for your appliances from.

I used Duffy's appliance years ago but was not happy. My dryer would continually ruin clothes by getting them cause between the drum and the housing. It was a front load and I said I thought I saw a split in it where the clothes could catch because it would catch draw strings, straps, etc. They told me that I was doing laundry wrong and to turn zip ups inside out. Needless to say this did nothing and after having a tech over twice I sold it and shopped at Lowe's. It wasn't their fault the machine was defective but how they handled it was poor. I expected better service having bought a new machine. Oh well. I'm happier with Lowe's.

Great service! My refrigerator died over the weekend. He will get rid of my old refrigerator and put in a temporary one until he can get what I want to replace the old. I but locally because I know I'll get the service I need!
