My wife, son and myself were drawn to deer hunt at Big Rivers WMA for the 2024 modern firearm season. We needed a place to stay as near the WMA as we could get. Options are very limited in Sturgis but we found these cabins online. The only available cabin was the large one (5 beds). This was way more than we needed but with everything else booked we took it. Upon arrival we found that the cabins are not in a natural setting, they are parked (like a mini trailer park) in the parking lot of a meat processing facility with a restaurant attached. That was fine as all we are doing is sleeping there. We got checked in and our cabin was not clean. It looked like someone had partied a little too hard and vomited on the floor beside one of the beds. We told the people at the restaurant (where we checked in) and someone did come over and clean it for us but that should have been done before we arrived. These are not what I would call nice cabins. Lots of holes in the walls, several blown light bulbs and it had a TV but no place to sit down and watch it. The water to the bathroom sink stopped working and we had to ask them to come fix it. They told us we needed to reset it under the sink. There was a button under the sink that has to be reset regularly, this would have been nice to know when we checked in. My last complaint would be that the entire area around the cabins smelled like soured milk. I don’t know where the smell was originating from but it was strong. We only stayed at the cabin at night since we spent all of our daytime hours hunting. We stayed 3 nights. If you need to stay in Sturgis this might be your only option but I just wanted to leave an honest review so you know what you’re getting.

Was working in the area and chose to stop here for lunch. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and green beans. Fried chicken batter was seasoned very well and was hot and juicy. Sides were great, everyone was incredibly nice, and prices were good!

Recently bought a rack of baby back ribs and chopped ham - they both were delicious!!! Workers are so friendly and welcoming!!! Will definitely return!!!

Everybody was extremely friendly and the service was well but honestly, I ordered a barbecue sandwich didn’t have no barbecue on it. did completely saturate my bun in water so I couldn’t eat my sandwich. Sourest little pickles I ever had. I spent 12 bucks on lunch and I’m gonna stop somewhere else and get something to eat before I go back to work cause I’m still hungry. I can’t say I’ll return. It looks like they had guys not working there walking around where the food is being prepared eating. Very unprofessional.

I was recommended to stop here by a local.. I'm glad I did.. The fried chicken is amazing, good fried okra, and the Mashed Potatoes were spot on. The menu has alot of good stuff Ill try later like fried green tomatoes, fried pork chops, chicken livers, and bbq mutton. You order your food at the counter and they'll bring it to you. I will stop by again if I'm in Sturgis

My family and I stayed in one over Memorial weekend to visit nearby Shawnee National Forest, and we loved it! Clean with two full beds, full bathroom, mini fridge, a/c, TV and microwave all for $60 night! The owner Andrew was extremely nice and he had a great restaurant with all kinds of meat dishes to choose from. There are at least 8 cabins to choose from, some with bunk beds...perfect for kids. They aren't in a great location (ours was behind a gas station) but they are easy to get too from the road! If you want a nice clean place to stay...I highly recommend!

My wife and I ate here looking for a good southern breakfast. What we got were frozen biscuits and canned gravy, tiny microwaved pancakes, and sweet tea that tasted like it was made with toilet water. We were traveling through the area and will avoid this place in the future.
