We had an AMAZING TIME!!! It was so neat to walk around and go in all the old buildings. And we met the owner and “caretaker” they are great GREAT guys out there trying their best to preserve Indiana history and I just think that’s amazing. Plus, Sadie the fence jumping goat is about the cutest thing in the whole world.

My husband and I had so much fun exploring Billie Creek Village today. The weather was perfect. It is free to look around the outside of bridges and buildings, or enter the ones that have the door open. You can pay $25 a person to have access to the other buildings. We loved the escape goat and cat. We highly recommend it if you're exploring Parks county.

There is a bathroom hidden behind the log cabin.

Went here today to explore around and see the sights, since it was somewhere we'd never went to during the Covered Bridge Festival last year. It was cool seeing all the old buildings, some of which that were locked, but we met a very nice woman named Melissa that told us a lot of cool info about the place. There was basically no one there, so it was nice to just walk around the buildings at our leisure. We even got to buy some sodas from the general store, though it wasn't technically "open" at the time, but Melissa was helpful again, so kudos to her for making it a pleasant time all around!

Mostly closed up when we were there, but still a really cool place to take kids to learn about Indiana history. Old school house, printing press, dentist, church , and a couple of covered bridges.

Love that we host our Amtgard events at this campground. The bathrooms are great and having a hotel for when weather is colder is excellent. Worth the 5 hour drive from Columbus for our events.
