Beadology Iowa has an amazing collection of beading and jewelry materials. We've purchased some of their supplies as well as jewelry over the years. The new shop location is a very nice. Close enough to downtown to be convenient, but a few blocks south of the congestion so there's less traffic and more parking. Also easy to reach for bicyclists and pedestrians.

We picked out beads and Emma helped us pick out proper clasps for bracelets. We were able to sit at the community table and have help designing and finishing. So fun!!

Traveled here today from the Quad Cities and loved it! Amazing selection! They have just about every color and stone you could ever want. The person working was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! They even have classes you can take every month. It was well worth the drive!

I travel often and try to visit bead shops. It’s then that I truly appreciate the amazingness of Beadology! They are hands down the best shop I’ve ever been to. Most cities, even big ones, don’t even have a bead shop. Karen and her awesome staff of outstanding people are experts and kindly and patiently offer help and advice. The classes are great. I’ve even taken some “private lessons” when I needed to learn a specific skill. The space is safe and welcoming. We are a fortunate community to have this shop and these people.

The staff at Beadology Iowa was amazing! I came in with a very specific request: recreating the necklace that is featured in the movie "Wild" based on the book of the same name by Cheryl Strayed. All I had was a picture of Reese Witherspoon wearing that necklace, which is identical to the one that the author had in real life. Long story short, the staff at Beadology assured they can do it, and corresponded with me via email multiple times. When I came in, the owner Karen was working and she proceeded to make the necklace for me on the spot. It turned out to be a great necklace! And the price was much lower than what I expected. Everyone, including the owner Karen, was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating!

Aside from the great staff and owner, the store itself is pretty cool. They have tons of stuff and they also run all kinds of classes in different areas of arts and crafts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My wife and I took a class on glass flameworking at Beadology this weekend. We had a lot of fun! The class was very well taught and the teacher was very specific with his comment. The staff were really helpful in answering my questions about products and equipment, they were also really friendly. The stock of beads and jewelry is quite large and very beautiful. They also have a significant amount of glass for working with soft glass and some borosilicates.
