These guys have always been difficult to work with but today was IT. I had already called about picking up a Bobcat, I was pulling in at 4:40 and called to give them a heads up and was told they close at 5 and couldn't do the paperwork and load it in 20 min so I wouldn't be able to pick it up... 20 minutes before you close. . . Maybe if you want to leave at 5... You have to close at 4:30... Cause of you aren't closed yet you should be doing business!

I. Am so impressed with B & J Equipment in Columbia City. They worked in my Simplicity mower deck and not only fixed the problem but in just a few days and very reasonable in price. They were delightful to work with. I would recommend them if you need your lawn tractor or mower worked on. It is so nice to have a company that treat you with respect. They are the company I will work with in the future.

Went there as a kid to refill my Paintball gun canisters. Feels like a lifetime ago, but they were effective and well priced. Went there 20 years later to rent a pressure washer, and the lady at the counter was helpful. They helped me load it into my vehicle and worked with me when I needed to keep it for an extended time. Would go there again.

I stopped in at B & J rental last Friday to purchase a few things for my first ownership of a Simplicity mower. I hope this name is correct, Tony assisted me on my purchases, and to be honest, Tony really new her stuff, everything was correct, pricing was fair, quality was perfect, for me, it was the kindness, and professional service I received that was exceptional. The world would be so much better, if we all could learn from this, and B & J rental, raises the bar. Thank you.

Came in with a 2006 snow blower that was left in the garage when I bought the house. Had several issues and less than $55 it runs great now. I thought it was going to cost too much and was going to have to buy another one. Plus it was done fast!!!

This company did service on my lawn mower without consulting me prior to the service. The recept even had written on it 'call with estimate.' They told me I was difficult to work with because I asked that they contact me before picking up my Mower to ensure that I was home. They didn't show twice when they told me they were coming. They made it very difficult to get a break down of the services rendered. They told me it was unreasonable to ask for a break down of the services. They initially told me they would only accept cash after being frustrated I wanted a break down of services. After a long, difficult, very rude conversation about me contacting the BBB and them threatening to sue me, they allowed me to pay by credit. I have never in my life been treated or spoken to with that much disrespect. They did service my mower the day after pick up, but I had asked them for a speedy turn around after the two no-shows. I hear they are reputable, but I am shocked considering the lack of business class and respect they show new customers new to the area. I would not recommend their services due to their bad customer service.
