This place is incredible! A lot of good deals, the staff is friendly and welcoming. I had purchased an outdoor rug that had a tear on the side, and I wanted a refund. The supervisor lady explained to me about the policy, broke it down so I could fully understand how this company operates so I am more aware of what I bid on. Since this was my first time, she offered me the refund and I politely declined since it was my fault. She was extremely knowledgeable and kind. You never know what you would get, but I am glad the staff is more than willing to work with you.

Unfortunately this place is never on time. For instance, I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time (also arrived 15 minutes early) and I was given a product with a defective tag inside of it, that doesn’t work or charge.

I have received numerous items of furniture that are all broken or defective. Stickers placed on items that are not able to be removed without damaging items, items missing key parts. I don’t think they inspect any item they receive so make sure you check everything before you leave.

Only reason why it’s 2 stars is because they accept returns within 24 hours. Like other reviewers have said, they customer support numbers and emails do not respond at all.

Attached is a picture of a Lego/mega Construx set I bought. It is outside the return window and I should have opened it quicker. Item has obviously been opened and used and then returned. The items you buy from this place are usually used or damaged.

5 stars because of the idea of their business. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make it possible to pick up multiple days worth of orders at the same time. The customer service says it’s possible but the workers deny me. I know the orders have to be picked to curbside a couple of days In advance.

Hear me out. If you allow people to order on multiple days worth of stuff, it will allow people to have more availability to go pick up stuff on their off days, leading to more bids and sales. A lot of people can’t bid on stuff due to the extremely limited amount of time to pick it up, as well as going through the hassle to get one item. If I had the availability to pickup 2 or 3 days worth of stuff at once I would bid on so much more.

I have been buying from this place since last year. I used to love it. I would buy items and I pick it up once a month because I live two hours away. I don’t know what is going on, but the past few months have been horrible. They change their hours, I called to find out what hours and I was told three different times. Then I had a family emergency couldn’t pick up my items on one day so I called to reschedule. They told me if I didn’t get them picked up by the next day I would lose them and then when I went to reschedule it wouldn’t let me reschedule. I sent an email and called 13 times and couldn’t get a hold of anybody. I lost the items that I had already paid for. Due to their negligence. I went from spending hundreds of dollars month on this site not even getting on it anymore. It has went downhill so badly, And now due to my experience with Hebron, I’m too afraid to try the one in Indianapolis. I would just steer clear. Seems they can’t get their stuff together

it items are as listed, the prices are not over inflated, you get to make an appointment and the items are brought to your vehicle. All in all its the best auction experience in town.
Update.. if you make an appointment you can not pick up your item any earlier that day. Just cancel and reschedule, otherwise they are very happy to just let you sit for hours. Lessons learned. I guess the best option is make an early appointment and then get there when you can. They had only one guy delivering to cars for over an hour.

This place is horrible. I had several issues with them from the beginning. On July 5th, I bought a Whirlpool 4 door refrigerator. It's said: not damaged, no missing parts, item is functional, in original packaging.
We came to the lot to get the fridge. We were not able to check if the refrigerator was actually working. Lady, supervisor with black long hair, didn't get to know her name, told us there are no ways to check refrigerator there.
We brought it home. It took 5 people to bring it inside. After 4 hours, as we told to wait to turn it on. We got to find out. It wasn't working.
Yes, at that time, before policy changed, she told me we could bring it back for the refund.
Really, 400 lbs fridge trying to get it out of the house.
I called Whirlpool and got to find out, we had a 1-year warranty on the fridge.
After Whirlpool sent a technician and 2 more weeks of waiting on 2 parts, which were damaged originally, when we bought a refrigerator, it was finally fixed.

Then today, on July 27th, with new policy is in place i was checking everything very carefully and was making sure that the item that I was bidding wasn't damaged.
I got Shark vacuum, which said : not damaged, open box, in original packaging. Nothing was said that parts were missing.
They put a place where you can check your items if they are working.
I came this morning, they brought the vacuum, I started putting it together but I couldn't. Handle and hose were missing. Of course I couldn't check it, it wasn't working. By their new policy, they had to issue the refund to me because the item didn't have parts. Of course, it wasn't working.
I told the manager, his name was Dave Jostworth, that I wanted a refund. He had a smile on his face telling me that the item was sold as it is by their new policy.
By their new policy, you have to test that item if it is working, which I couldn't since the handle and hose were missing, and he kept telling me, "No, he wouldn't refund my money."
He completely broke the rules of their refund policy.
Item was damaged since there were missing parts, box was badly damaged. Which was totally different from the pictures that they posted. They are breaking their own rules, not describing the item correctly, and not mentioning that parts were missing. They are totally fooling people now.
I contacted the office for that matter.
I have pictures and videos of my broken product and missing parts, I can provide it for the investigation of this matter.
Do not buy any electronics or any refrigerators. Check carefully what it says of the description of each item. This place is bad the way their treat their customers.
P.S. When it's says open box, that means by their definition, there are missing items that they don't want to list. But they want you to buy an item without properly describing the item, in order for them to refuse to refund the money.
Then you have to leave their property and they give you another reason when you call their customer service that you left the lot with your item. It's your own fault.
AVOID THIS PLACE. At the end you will end up with broken or missing parts item and will be spending more money, trying to fix that item.

I AM NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE.
Not worse your time and misery that they put you through.

I bought three items from this company and they were all trash. Do not waste your time or money dealing with their products. Everything is either broken bent or missing multiple pieces. I bought an electric pressure washer months ago, and still have not been refunded. It was missing an entire piece that you hook your garden hose up to.
Then I bought an umbrella that you would’ve had to put together to find out that it was bent in the middle and falls over whenever you open the umbrella. Along with the umbrella, I bought a movable stand with caster wheels. When I opened up the box after I had gotten home, it only had one caster making it completely unusable. When I called customer service to request a refund, they told me too bad you should’ve put everything together in the parking lot to make sure it worked.
However, all of these products are listed as new on their website and are labeled as being “not damaged.” Customer service is in no way helpful or tries to resolve the issues. I normally never write reviews, but the public needs to be aware of this fraudulent place!

There are some things about all surplus that I really like, but it is frustrating that there is no way to communicate with any one at the warehouse. I am getting so much different information from everyone. This console came completely shattered and just a couple pieces of hardware are there. At first glance and from the top it seemed fine so I drove home. This is a 45 minute drive for me, so I'm not sure making that 1.5 hour total trip to get a $50 refund makes sense. Can't I just show a picture of all the shattered pieces and call it good. This piece can't be saved
