Took my mower for repair there. The cost to repair it was about $700. I decided not to do. They charged me diagnostic fees of $65. He offered to buy it of my hand for $250. It is ride on mower worth couple thousands. I took it to the dealership in the west and they checked for me and told me nothing wrong with the mower, but there was a wood stick jammed in the deck and hold the blade. They fixed it right away with no repair cost. I called maximum outdoor equipment and told them what happened and they should refund the diagnostic fees as they were all wrong. I was talking to them as professional as it could be as I was trying not to insult them. The guy was very unpleasant and rude on the phone. He refused to refund the fees with all the dishonesty you could imagine

Took a pole saw in to be fixed 2 times. Brought it back. Spent over $100. It still was not fixed. Took it over a 3rd time they said it was going to be almost $300 more dollars to fix it. Decided to go pick it up and not have them fix it. When we got there to pick it up it was in pieces. They didn’t even put it back together. We will not be going back for anything.

I have been all over town looking for a Stahl chain saw, from the Agusta dealer to Salisbury on south west st. But here was the first time someone didn't treat me like a moron for have questions about their products. They were very hospitable and knowledgeable in their products, and look forward to making a purchase with them soon.

I am a long time Andover resident and do my best to shop local. I was hit by the Andover tornado and went to buy a chainsaw from here. I asked if they were giving any discounts to victims of the tornado and the person at the counter stated, “Yes, we didn’t raise the prices on them.” He was rude, belligerent, and appeared to care less. I will never step foot in this place again and would rather drive 100 miles to buy a saw somewhere else than shop here again. This is how they choose to treat the residents of their community.

I had several friends recommend this place for knowledgeable and prompt service, so I gave them a call when I needed a new mower. I had some basic questions I wanted to ask before I drove out. I’m not a mechanic and I’m not a lawnmower expert. The male on the phone was condescending and degrading with his answers, after hearing my questions. I have only experienced them on the phone and not in person. I think when you call a business for help with the possibility of buying something from them, they should be professional. The businesses on S rock rd and Augusta didn’t treat me like a child.
