I happened to walk by this place a few days ago and I wanted get inside as I love the old cast iron cookware, not the new junk they sell today as I feel they are trying to ride on the laurels of the antique cookware. I'm sure Doug can sell you new cookware but why would you want it when the old stuff is by far better than the new. I finally got in there the other day and it is an array of awesome cookware in cast iron! I thought I had been in the 10 minutes and when I left it had been over 2 hours. My wife called me asking where I was is how I found out. If you like the unusual in antiques and cast iron cookware and cast iron toy cookware this is it! I don't see this big of display of modern cookware anywhere! I love this place and could spend a lot of money here.

After driving for an hour and 10 minutes to get here, I was greeted to a hand written sign in the window saying that they were closed until they moved to their new location around the corner.

Before leaving home, I checked google maps as well as their facebook page and there was no indication that they were not open.

I would have liked to check out the store and pick up a pan or two that I didn't know that I needed, but being honest, I am unwilling to drive another hour and 10 minutes to see if they might be open.

This place is amazing for anyone interested in cast iron! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about cast iron and was so friendly and informative about the work he does. He demonstrated the process for cleaning and restoring cookware and also showed us how to properly season it. His shop is full of antiques and beautiful vintage cookware. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for cookware that will last a lifetime!

The owner Doug is very helpful. He explained the differences between the brands. It was great that he knew the knowledge that I wanted to know. Not to mention the store has an awesome variety! I’m from Lincoln, NE and starting out in cast iron. So this was a nice find that wasn’t horribly far away from home. So I think I’ll be coming back again in the future. Overall a fun and great experience. ☺️

Showed up on a weeknight early afternoon- was greeted quickly by the owner who asked if I knew what I was looking for which I didn’t. He was patient and walked through a ton of pieces, how to use and care for them, and also some history behind them and the iron. I had a great time here and would go back just for the conversation. Delightful shop and friendly owner with a passion for history. Highly recommend.

Brought a couple of pieces to trade and left with a great Griswold Skillet. I could not be happier. Doug was very knowledgeable and a great guy to work with. He explained how he cleans up the iron to my wife and daughter. We all enjoyed the visit!
