This place is amazing! Such a lovely, sweet owner. We had a party of 7. Had a great lunch and spent an hour just looking around at all of the unique merchandise and fresh, gigantic tomatoes grown right on the property. And so much more. A must see!

Went in to see Jennifer Goodlove at the Farmer's Daughter today. I am obsessed with smile face stuff and she had a sweater that I could not walk out without purchasing it was so cute. There is always so much stuff to look at and goodies to eat here. It's a must stop in and see. As we get closer to spring it will be a must stop for plants and produce.

So many gorgeous flower combos , garden decor and so much more. 40$ for a huge basket, well worth it! Price depends on co trainer and variety. Picked up some excellent asparagus and rhubarb as well.

Jennifer was incredibly friendly and served up the best chicken salad sandwich that my girlfriend and I have ever had!! Thank you for telling us about Gordy... We ended up getting 15 dozen ears of Iowa corn from him to take home with us!

Mom and I stopped here today looking forward to purchasing pumpkins for our homes. Decided to walk through the store first. Cute clothes, but everything is double the price it should be. Smelled musty in there, packaged products were dusty and clearly from previous years still sitting on the dusty shelves. The older lady in there-assuming owner?- stalked me around the store commenting on every item I touched or looked at.. even making me try on a cardigan I had no interest in.. for all of those reasons and more is why mom and I decided not to buy pumpkins after all. Poor old lady lost our business. Maybe she should clock out.

The Farmer’s Daughter’s Market is a unique gem: a wonderful cafe with delicious homemade food, a lovely boutique, a farmer’s market with fruits and vegetables, garden art and gorgeous flowers! The owner is so lovely and goes out of her way for customers. Visiting here is the highlight of our long road trips, and really makes our day!

If there were a zero she would get it. I went against my better judgement after having not been in the store for over a year because of the way the one sided conversation had went. She preached and bragged to me then how she would not allow folks in during the rona years unless they wore a mask. Being a small business owner for many many years and growing up in a small business owner household you are there to please customers. I walked out of there swearing I would not come back and broke my cardinal rule by stopping. I looked at the produce and of course the lady came over and asked if she could help me. I said no, was really wanting greens. She snottily told me that those are earlier in the season. I walked over to look at her clothing which I am sure is not all if any made in the USA or made 'locally.' I made casual conversation at first since she kept staring at me like I was going to walk off with something. I told her it was a little quiet in the store and again she snottily replied it was middle of the day and was busy earlier. She then asked me, snottily how long it had been since I had been in there and started the preaching sarcastically about buying local, something I have done for years. I then commented that I do support locally and that we have helped many businesses thru the years. I brought the mask thing up and then it just escalated from there. Sorry lady, but was never a law that our Governor mandated. I was then kicked out of her store which I truly gladly went and will NEVER support again.
