I'm a professional film and tv actress and was looking for the best acting school in OC. I checked it out on Google before I went and it was voted the third best acting school in California and I can see why. This school is the best out there, and the best thing is that they are honest and very well priced. I went to my first class and was amazed how much I learned about film and television acting. i feel really lucky its so close to my house. They not only teach you great acting techniques, but they went above and beyond in giving me great tips on resumes, pictures, getting an agent, etc...everything you need to get ahead in the industry.

The Actors Workshop teaches true film acting. If you want to learn what that means, you should check it out. I had taken some acting classes before, so there were certain aspects of acting technique I thought I got. After joining the workshop I discovered I barely knew anything. That was a little scary at first, but I realized what I had previously been taught involved so much thinking it was overwhelming sometimes.

I figured the learning curve would be steep, but Rob Adams is a great teacher. It doesn’t matter if you have zero acting experience or if you’ve been acting for years. Rob has a way of tailoring his critiques to each individual person regardless of their level. I think he has a gift for understanding people and he’s really invested in each of his students. Class always feels like a place we can ask questions not just about technique, but about auditioning and the industry too. Rob’s patient and capable of explaining multiple ways so what we’re learning can click for all of us. Most importantly, Rob encourages his students to embrace their own uniqueness and challenges us to think about things from different perspectives. It takes time, dedication and hard work like any craft does, but it’s fun. Acting makes so much more sense now and that’s all thanks to Rob and the workshop!

The Actors Workshop is a great school if your serious about acting. Before attending the workshop, I had my mind set on only attending the school for 3 months, because I figured that’s all I needed before I started auditioning. Boy was I wrong! There is so much out there in this industry to learn from auditioning technique, being on set and the business side that it could be very overwhelming. However, Rob inspires, empowers, and very engaging which makes you feel more relaxed. Rob has years of experience and insight in the industry, which he is willing to share to help you have a successful career if you put in the work. He has helped me with every aspect of acting. The Actors Workshop will equip you with the necessary tools needed to not only make it in this difficult business, but to sustain a career at the highest level. The class content is very precise and engaging, which keeps you interested in the material your being taught. I am very thankful to be a part of the Actors Workshop and will continue sharping my skills to be a successful working actress.

The actors workshop truly teaches you. So many other places out there pander to what actors "think" they need to do or learn to become a great actor in order to charge more or create an illusion of accomplishment. I feel fortunate to be apart of the actors workshop where they cut through the BS and tell it like it is. It's simple, honest and they genuinely care about the growth of the students. I've been with the actors workshop for over a year now and I have grown so much. It's harder to be a judge of yourself but it's pretty awesome watching the new students and seeing how they just get better and better in their work. You don't ever finish acting classes. It's your training ground and where you stay fit. Like a pro basketball player- you wouldn't stop training the moment you made it to the NBA. If you are a serious actor and looking for the best place to train and hone your skills, this is the place for you.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Actors Workshop. It is exactly what you want as a working actor. A place to go to exercise your creative muscles, to encourage you to push your boundaries, and to help you grow as a person and as an artist.

If you are not a professional actor yet, there isn't a better place to learn to be one. Rob Adams has years of experience and insight he is willing to share, and he will help you make a career if you put in the effort.

Wonderful coaches who are working actors. Lots of on camera time with a partner, at least once a week. They are rated top 3 schools in California. They are very well priced as well. No time is wasted in this class. They teach great acting techniques and also help their students with resumes, head shots, getting an agent and teach you all the ins and outs of the industry.

This is truly the training you want to propel your career forward folks. It's Truthful, it's real, no BS, AND TRAINS YOU TO APPROACH ALL SIDES OF THIS BUSINESS THE RIGHT WAY. A few of the things we focus on are Auditions processes & submissions, headshots, resumes, brand work, set work, the mindset in the work, realism, mark training, technique, film study, cold readings, self-tapes, and so much more! This training takes responsibility and and true discipline. Understand this a committment and the actor must put in the work to see results. There's a reason they've been around for over 30 years.
