I am so happy I found this store. I have a piece of southwest jewelry that no jeweler would touch. It was a size 9 embedded turquoise ring. I needed the ring to be resized to a 7, but because the stone was embedded every jeweler I talked to kept telling me no because they would ruin the stone and no one wanted that issue, which was completely understandable. However, when i came across these gentlemen they did not turn me away so fast. Joseph saw the ring and said he could do it with full confidence. He told me what he would have to do but that he would take care of it. Let me tell you he did not disappoint!! It took 6 days, because of the request I would give him all the time he needed. They called me the day they said they would; let me know it was finished and when I went to pick it up I was so ecstatic. I could finally wear this ring! No scratches or marks indicating modifications. They also shined it up for me and i couldn't be happier. I will definitely be bringing more repairs to them!

Sold me a supposedly gold filled bracelet and necklace...turns out they are plated maybe doubling dipped.... they supposedly give you a lifetime guarantee I've traded it back like maybe five times last time they're charging me for shipping and handling another $20 I'm like that ridiculous is it my faulting do yourself a favor don't buy

I read your response that is the case why are you explaining to everybody and showing a poster that it's actually gold filled which is like the least one third gold it's now you're saying it's hand dipped you see the dilemma here . Oh and when I went in the 3 rd time to trade it in .you said it was dipped 7 times not Ten ....no it's okay I'm out 300 bucks next time I'll go to eBay thank you

I needed a watch cleaned and reset for my father, but it turned out to be out of warranty. The gentleman was very knowledgeable, respectful and helped me with a more cost effective solution. I will be back for my own watch purchases in the future.

Went in for a simple watch links to be removed to be sized for my son's wrist. This store wanted to charge me 35.0 plus tax. Just to remove 4 links. Simple Seiko watch Series 5. I knew it was not that indepth job. The guy at the store stated, "it's s complicated link and not sure if I have the tools to do it may take long too." That was not correct and a lie. I knew it was not that complex. Took it to Vernon Hills Mall. Fast Fix Jewelry and Watch Repair. They took the watch completed the link removal in 15 minutes and only charged 16.99. So moral of this. Don't settle for what people tell you. This shop is over priced both with repairs and the watches are marked up way too high in the store. I know watches and the retail value. Truly surprised me also how high prices were for Casio to Citizen watches. Shop around people don't settle.

I purchased a watch from the gentlemen at Iris and was misled about the details of the watch. In addition to this, he is seemingly unable to remove or add links to a steel bracelet without scratching the links themselves. I bought my own watch tool kit two weeks later only to find how easy it was, so easy in fact that I exchanged the scratched links with fresh ones on my first try without leaving any marks on them. I do not know if this was on purpose or accident but it is much cheaper and easier to just buy a watch tool kit on Amazon and do it yourself. They also sell their watches at extreme markups. I would recommend finding one you like in store and then going to the watch's website and purchase directly from there with no markup. Do not buy jewelry in a mall. Joseph himself is the one who scratched the links whilst changing them.
