Well first impressions are very good, although I did not find what I was looking for I can tell I will find plenty of great stuff here. The image attached to this review was a snap I took, the records were just like this.

The building is huge, just from the front door it already looks big but I was told there was a back area too, which was several times bigger than the already big front area with the clothing. If you are looking for used goods, this is almost certainly the place.

As a side note; I do not know about how overpriced people claim some items are from previous reviews but I can tell you this, from my experience going in things seemed to be mostly correct. Some of their cookware is a bit on the high side, a Ninja blender from 2023 might cost you 150 dollars, but a rather used 2010 model is not going to fetch 50 dollars, simple as. Despite this I am not docking a star, I am not offended by some of these prices as I do not seek those items, your millage may very.

Either way the store was nice, the staff was friendly and the lady working the checkout was very nice as well. Good store.

I have donated a lot to the Hope Chest of the last few years, in hopes that many who don't have much money can go in and shop. These items are given to you free. I unfortunately have only seen large ticket prices on items, furniture given free many times has several hundred dollars on them. Why? Today I dropped off another load, that I carried all in for the lady, because I feel she always seems annoyed at receiving any items. I have had staff go thru my boxes and take thing out that they don't want. I don't take junk, or broken items, or stained clothing. So why is that neccessary. I then went to pick up my Mother in law who had been shopping in store. I chose to put several items back, that she was going to buy of clothing for my daughter. When I see simple cotton leggings with a $6 sticker that is insane. I can buy brand new at Walmart, I only had 1.00 or less on clothes in my yard sale. So the items sell or people in need can get. I understand there are people working there to keep the place running, but when a goodwill store is more expensive than just buying an item new, something is wrong.

Always nice clean environment, it's chill and full of style. I could spend lots of time here. And I try, always neat things to check out and always good fun people to chat with while doing so. This is absolutely my favorite place to be. When it comes to feeling good and like myself.

Favorite place to shop in Cville! Only a 4 tho due to the prices on some of the items, especially the womens jeans. Iam changing my review to a 2. Over the last 6mths atleast they have raised the prices on everything but its the price jump on their clothing (womens jeans) that has myself and many others disguisted! This is a thrift store and as i understand a place where people with little to no $$ can afford things they need and everything is donated to the Hope Chest. As of today the miss me brand jeans and other name brand jeans are no less than 50$ i cn understand mabey 30$ thats even steep for donated items and in an area where poverty is a serious issue. It is very sad and unfair in my opinion, myself as well as others have recently respectfully declined spending our $$s at this place until the owner drops her prices to a fair and affordable rates

Place to visit before you go to that big box store to spend your hard earned cash. Variety of stuffs to look over. Might save you some money. Worth a walk through.
