This is a great store! I bought some new dining chairs during their soft opening. I came in twice on the same day, once to test some chairs on my own and once with my husband to see which ones we both liked, and the associates all remembered me and what I was looking for the second time. It made for a very nice experience. All of the associates were extremely friendly and helpful both times I stopped by. The store is laid out beautifully and has a surprisingly great selection of what AllModern sells. I also got an additional 25% discount for their opening weekend, which was really nice and unexpected! There were some kinks (like a longer wait time to check out), but there usually are during soft openings. Overall the experience was great, and ran surprisingly smoothly for their first day open! Will absolutely be buying from here again.

Overall, it’s a nice store. It’s a lot of square feet and there are tons of products, including LOTS of chairs.

That being said, I felt the overall design is very mediocre... Feels like a crate and barrel or CB2 knock-off. I thought they would make some more creative and inspiring design choices, but they played it very safe. I was hoping they would showcase their more unique products (which I know they have online). I will potentially come here to try out something I see online, but I wouldn’t go here to window shop or get inspiration. They had their Christmas decor out when I came by and there was not one interesting or modern thing from the whole section. Very traditional.

Also the scent machine is pumped up WAY too high. It smells good but it’s almost nauseating at the current levels.

During Black Friday, I bought a set of dining tables, chairs, and a rug here. However, the rug has been shedding crazy. The nice patient customer service helped me out, I had to carry this huge rug to the FedEx store myself then get a refund.I went to Fedex on my way to work this morning, and before leaving, I specifically called their customer service last night to ask: How do I need to pack my rug? Do I need to pack it before I drop off? How should I pack it if needed? I told the customer service that the rug came in plastic bags when it first delivered. The lady form customer service told me that I just need to find a plastic bag to cover it.I told her that I only have black garbage bags at home. Is it okay to pack it this way? The answer I received is: Yes, black garbage bags can be used for packaging. I just need to cover the rug in black garbage bag and wrap it around with tape..!!! So, on my way to work this morning, I went to the FedEx store 15 minutes early. The staff told me that they couldn't accept such packaging and needed to spend $15 before tax to buy a box.I agreed because I was in a hurry to go to work. I think a big and good company like All Modern would understand and refund the money I spent on buying the box, but they didn't! Cause where their customer service told me I could package it like this!They made the mistake!But they don't feel sorry and pay for their mistake! I used to love the things here very much. It's time for me to leave them with everyone, just because of this $15, it's really ridiculous!

I placed an order of a dining table Tuesday night in this store. Then I changed my mind because the table would not be a good fit for the dining room. I called the store the next morning to cancel the order, and eventually got an email saying they were "Unable to cancel the order".
At the time of purchase, I thought AllModern was an independent store. Later I learned that it is an affiliate of wayfair. I have contacted the customer support of both AllModern and Wayfair for the cancellation, but they kept telling me that the dining table had been already pulled out from the warehouse, and it was being prepared for shipping. It's hard for me to believe this had happened overnight, and they could not provided any proof. Checked the order status online, it indicated that nothing had been shipped yet, even after a few days later. I don't understand why an order cannot be cancelled before being shipped. Even if it is being prepared for shipping, I don't understand why it could not be stopped.
After spending time talking to a few customer support people of both AllModern and Wayfair, I learned that the only way to do this was to return the item, but I had to pay the shipping cost. This sounds really strange: the table was not shipped yet, but I had to pay the shipping cost to return it!
Over the years, I have made many online purchases, and generally I don't want to leave any negative comments. I understand that it is hard to do business. But my experience with AllModern and Wayfair was much worse than unreasonable. Customers need to be aware of their cancellation and return policies. I would be extremely cautious to place any orders through AllModern.

AllModern is just Wayfair. Didn't know they were one company? Now you do. And it's horrendous.

We purchased a chair here that was never delivered or at least not delivered to our address. When I called the store for updates, I got WAYFAIR customer service... that's insane! The guys in-store were great, but the experience after the fact has been the worst.

Do not shop here, don't give them even a penny of your money. Basically, this is a Wayfair showroom, and on the back end, you'll have to deal with Wayfair customer service and people in order to get your products.

This is absolutely a crazy way to pull the wool over people's eyes. Don't shop here. Try to shop local, and always Google company's ownership. I'll be getting a refund in 3-5 biz days when they "confirm" that I didn't get the dang chair. Lesson learned.

Purchased a bed with white glove service advertised and included in the price. Invoice says FREE delivery and assembly. This was the reason I went with this bed from this store. Got a call 10 minutes before delivery that the delivery people could not assemble bed due to liability reasons. The person I talked to told me to call Angie’s list. Talked to the customer service people who are very difficult to reach—was told to send email to customer resolution people. No reply so far.

The people in the All Modern store were very helpful, but don’t be fooled. The follow up service is not available from the store.

Now we have guests arriving and have to assemble the bed. Buyer beware.

I did some prep online before arriving and walked in ready to purchase armed with coupons from my recent move. I was greeted smugly by what was presumed to be the design team after politely asking for assistance and mentioning I was ready to buy. Stacy was willing to help me make my purchase. She mentioned that I could not stack the 20% off sale price and my coupons which I was fine with so I did not use them. However, the items I was purchasing didn’t fall under the 20% sale and she did not mention it, allowing me to complete my purchase without utilizing my coupons. In addition, after the transaction was completed, I noticed there was a protection plan that I mentioned I did not want added to my order. After noticing both of these items, Alex was able to help adjust my order. Not sure if we were trying to pump commission percentages or protection plan KPI’s here, but this transaction definitely left a poor taste in my mouth. If you shop here, just ask for Alex.

Friendly and helpful staff, good products at great prices if you’re looking for something simple. Be warned that the linen blend duvet cover set smells like vomit/ formaldehyde, assuming from the chemicals used in manufacturing process, but the team recognized this and assured me it goes away with a wash.
