Fun place! Great items! Leslie is sweet!! Love the store bc there are so many things to choose from. Free parking in the mall lot. Only thing is the pricing is a bit high… the T-shirts are thin and soft - but some adult ones are $36 (XL men’s) and the kids ones are $32 (size 8 kids). I was hoping the kids one would be half the price of the adult one bc they usually are in most other stores. This is a chain and it’s also at MCI Kansas City airport (Concourse A - MCI only has 1 terminal w 2 Concourses A & B) and the prices there are only $1 more expensive so if you don’t want more stuff in bags, but it at the airport once you get through security.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Made in KC, and I must say, it’s truly the cutest boutique in Kansas City! Every time I walk through the door, I’m greeted by a delightful array of unique finds that make browsing an absolute joy. The atmosphere is so inviting, and I love discovering what’s new each time I visit.

Cat at Made in KC at the Barrywoods location deserves a special shoutout! She is always incredibly helpful and friendly, ready to assist with any questions or recommendations. Lovely stop for gifts or even treats for yourself. Im a big believer in supporting local whenever possible and this store makes it easy to do. I was able to get several people gifts here and feel good about who I am supporting. They have everything from snacks, apparel, puzzles, candles, and even pet gifts.

As a proud KC Heartlander, I AM SO EXCITED that we have another Made in KC north of the river. Located in the strip mall near AMC Barry Road and Zona Rosa, this spot is just a hop & a skip from Barry Road, 152 highway and i29 highway. Easy access!

The shop has all your essentials: stickers, magnets, keychains, chocolates (yum, Christopher Elbow), local art, pet treats, soy candles from multiple merchants (Messner Bee Farm), and an array of KC shirts from big brands like Charlie Hustle and Made Mobb.

Made in KC also has a $28 (as of April 2023) VIP program where participants in the subscription get a monthly item of either socks, a shirt, or one of the specially selected items. Additionally, you will get some other freebies & fun surprises throughout the year. Worth $600 per calendar year for all these rad local items!
